Joy Creed, Gospel Recording Artist, originally from Jamaica and a humble resident of Toronto, Ontario, write and sing reggae, SOCA and R & B music, which is a cross between Tracy Chapman, Lauryn Hill, Gladys knight and Candi Staton.
Joy’s goal is to deliver a positive message of hope and joy to diverse cultures that will effect change and growth in the lives of many.
At the early age of eight, the gift of singing and songwriting started for Joy, as she wrote her songs, while she listened to the beats on the radio.
Joy’s debut album, June 2008 – ‘Lily of the Valley’, include songs of her original composition and brought her great success and recognition in the gospel music industry on March 28, 2009. On this date, at the 22nd Annual Canadian Reggae Music Award Show, Joy was proclaimed winner of the 2009 Top Female Gospel Reggae Artist, Canada.
Joy has performed at various venues in Canada, including Nathan Phillips Square, Jamaica and the U.S.A.
