Kim Black is Kingdom Inspired Ministry a.k.a. K.I.M. In her music, you can hear the Father’s cry to the lost to be reconciled to Him through His Son Yehoshua the Messiah. She is very involved in the ministry of reconcilation.

K.I.M. uses the life and music given by Adonai as a change agent for Jesus. She is after the spirit in everyone where change begins, not the flesh. K.I.M. desires that her music exalts Adonai, directs the saints to be led by the Holy Spirit, and is a witness of Christ in the world.

Kim grew up with jazz as her father was a jazz pianist. Before being saved, she gigged with bands singing funk and R&B. These genres are very heavy in her music.

In 2005, she released the CD "Pray," co-written and produced by Donnie McLaurin. "The Message" single was released in 2006, featuring Rev. Dr. LeRoy Thompson.

In November 2007, K.I.M. sang at the 21st Bi-Annual International Gospel Industry Retreat, the "brainchild" of renowned recording artist Vickie Winans and Dr. Bobby Jones.

In May 2008, her new project "Resurrection Life" was released, featuring Steve "Keyz" Ebhodaghe , Solomon Ekwukoma, Joshua Patani, along with worship leader Lisa Glover, recording artist Angela Bryant-Brown, and rap artist Kwame Ofori a.k.a. Verbal Chemistry.

"I Will Obey," the featured single on "Resurrection Life," is being hailed as the Anthem of the Body of Christ. It was the finale at "The Queen That I Am Conference" sponsored by Kingdom Coaches International(KCI).

"I Will Obey" is part of a CD compilation entitled "Unified by Grace,"produced by QuickStar Productions. Proceeds support the Nyambabare Clinic, West Ankola, Uganda.

Kim is a wife and mother. She is also a worship leader at The Triumphant Church, Springfield, VA, where she is involved in the Outreach Ministry.
